Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and payments made on the Stories Hut mobile application and website, operated by Stories Hut Private Limited, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
By subscribing or making a payment, you agree to this policy.
2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the App or the respective app store account settings.
2.2. Upon cancellation, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
2.3. No further charges will be applied after cancellation for the next billing cycle.
2.4. Cancellation does not result in automatic deletion of the user account unless separately requested.
3. Refund Policy
3.1. Single payments made for a subscription period are non-refundable. Once paid, the subscription remains active until the end of the billing period.
3.2. Refunds are permitted only in cases of double payment or duplicate deduction for the exact same billing cycle.
3.3. In the event of a double payment, only the extra amount deducted will be refunded. The original single payment remains valid.
3.4. Refund requests for double payments must be made within 7 days of the transaction.
3.5. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Partial usage of the subscription period.
- Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle.
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of Terms & Conditions.
- Dissatisfaction with content preferences, reading speed, or writer availability.
- Technical issues caused by user devices, internet providers, or third-party services.
5. Writer Earnings
5.1. Payments made to writers based on page reads are non-refundable.
5.2. If a book is removed due to policy violation, copyright issues, or exclusivity breach, all related views and earnings will be voided.
5.3. The Company reserves the right to withhold or adjust payouts in cases of fraud, artificial inflation of reads, or policy violations.
6. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests for duplicate payments must be sent to:

The request must include:
- Registered email or phone number
- Transaction ID
- Date and time of payment
- Reason for refund
7. Policy Changes
Stories Hut Private Limited reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the App and website. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
